Memorable spaces shaped by clear ideas and careful use of resources.
HAJA Office for Architecture is a Brisbane practice led by registered architect Timothy Hajnady. The office is focused on residential and commercial projects, creating spaces with lasting character through spatial clarity, material experimentation and careful direction of investment.
Experience
Timothy holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) and has been registered in Queensland since 2019. Before establishing HAJA, he spent more than five years working with Michael Hogg and Greg Lamb at Hogg & Lamb, following roles at Joe Adsett Architects, Richard Kirk Architect and ThomsonAdsett. His experience spans high-end boutique residential architecture, commercial projects and resourceful, budget-conscious renovations.
His time at Hogg & Lamb placed him within a Brisbane design culture shaped by both directors’ extensive experience, including their earlier work on significant Donovan Hill projects. That lineage continues to inform Timothy’s interest in memorable spaces, material character and architecture as a complete lived experience.
Approach
With an earlier background in graphic design and an interest in hands-on fabrication, Timothy approaches buildings, interiors and objects as parts of a coherent experience. HAJA treats budgets and constraints as tools for focusing a design, directing resources toward the places where they can create the greatest impact.
HAJA aims to create memorable spaces that enrich everyday life and contribute a distinctive, enduring body of work to Brisbane.
